There’s something electric about nights where style meets sound.
Last Friday, The Federal Hotel in Bellingen came alive for FULL HOUSE, a co-curated event between myself and the ever-talented DJ iBEXX — an evening built on rhythm, nostalgia, and connection.
As I stepped behind the decks, I wore one of my favourite pieces from the collection — a 1998 Betty Boop “Roller Blades” vintage T-shirt, officially licensed by King Features Syndicate and The Hearst Corporation. Soft cotton, bold print, and pure 90s attitude. This tee isn’t just fashion; it’s frequency. It hums with joy, with the same kind of playful confidence that Betty herself embodies — the perfect match for a night dedicated to movement and music.

💫 A Celebration of Collaboration and Curation
FULL HOUSE was more than just an event — it was a shared vibration.
Every mix, every smile, every spin of the record carried that Libra balance I always aim to live by: beauty in collaboration, pleasure in creation, and flow in connection.
For me, vintage fashion and DJ culture share the same philosophy — both are about honouring the past while creating something new. The soft fade of a well-loved tee mirrors the warm crackle of a vinyl record: imperfect, alive, timeless.
Slow Fashion, Fast Beats
At East Coast Collabs, I curate every piece with intention — sustainability, quality, and a deep sense of story. This Betty Boop tee has lived a life before it met me, and now it continues that story under neon lights and basslines.
Slow fashion isn’t about stillness — it’s about presence.
It’s the art of choosing pieces that hold memory, movement, and meaning.
That’s what makes every vintage tee so magnetic: it’s wearable history, infused with energy that never fades.
